Our concrete baths, basins, tables and BBQ benches are ideal choices for outdoor spaces due to their ability to withstand the elements. However, we advise against leaving items like vases, candles, or plant pots on the table during heavy rain. Pooled rainwater may leave temporary marks, which should naturally fade over time (typically within four weeks) as long as no acidic substances are involved.

Protecting Against Heavy Items and Sunlight

To safeguard your concrete surface from scratches and mild color changes that may occur over time with direct sunlight exposure, consider using felt pads, table runners, or mats under heavy items or centrepieces. Avoid dragging heavy objects across the surface, and periodically rotate objects exposed to direct sunlight.

Despite its strength, concrete edges can be susceptible to small chips and breakages, especially when impacted by hard objects. In the long term accidental chips and most scratches can be polished out can be repaired by a Vallee artisan.
