Vallee Warranty
1. Vallee Limited Warranty
The Vallee Limited Warranty is designed to provide coverage for defects in materials and workmanship under "normal use and service," as defined below. However, please note that this warranty does not apply to the following:
a) Lack of Maintenance and Accidental Damage
- Goods that have not been maintained following provided instructions or have been accidentally damaged.
b) Unauthorized Alterations
- Defects resulting from installation, modification, cleaning, or repair conducted by any party other than Vallee Pty Ltd.
c) External Factors
- Damage caused by mishandling, accidents, fire, lightning, or other natural or man-made hazards, as well as during shipment. "Normal use and service" pertains to typical residential usage.
d) Improper Use and Abuse
- This includes damage due to mishandling, excessive heat exposure, uneven weather conditions, physical or chemical abuse, or improper care and maintenance.
e) Excessive Impact Damage
- Damage resulting from chips or other excessive impact to the product.
f) Scratches
- While Vallee sealers are scratch-tolerant, they are not scratch-proof. Proper care, including the use of a cutting board, is essential. Water damage caused by scratching or general wear and tear is not covered.
g) Thermal Shock
- Instances of thermal shock may occur if a hot object is left on the surface for an extended period. Always use trivets or hot pads to prevent such damage.
h) Excessive Pressure
- Damage caused by excessive pressure, such as sitting, standing, or applying force beyond normal use.
i) Chemical Damage
- Any form of chemical damage.
j) Commercial Environments
- Wear and tear in commercial settings is not covered. While Vallee offers a 12-month warranty on the structural integrity of the concrete, damage to the surface is not warranted due to the unpredictable nature of commercial use.
k) Extended Water Exposure
- Leaving the product filled with water for more than 4 hours is not recommended.
3. Do's and Do Not's
Do's:
- Clean up spills immediately, including substances like wine, coffee, bleach, and more.
- Clean surfaces using a sponge or soft cloth with cool soapy water.
- Use protective placemats and trivets for cups, plates, bowls, and hot dishes.
Do Not's:
- Avoid generic cleaning products like bleach or glass cleaners.
- Refrain from using vinegar, ammonia, lemon, or orange-based cleaners, as well as any corrosive or acidic agents.
- Do not sit or stand on concrete surfaces; they are not designed for such use.
- Avoid applying excessive heat directly to the concrete.
- Do not drag, brush, or scratch the surface, as this can compromise the sealer.
- Prevent hot oil from coming into contact with the concrete.
4. Material Variations
Vallee products incorporate various materials, including concrete, steel, aluminium, timber, and more. Natural variations in colour, pattern, and air bubble ratios in concrete and other minor variations in materials are expected and are considered a natural part of each piece. Such variations do not fall under warranty consideration.
5. Limitation of Liability

6. Upon Delivery
Upon collection or delivery, the customer becomes 100% responsible for the preservation and maintenance of the product.
7. During Warranty Period
